We identify and assess potential interactions of our business with people and the environment, applying appropriate mitigation measures, and actively monitoring and managing our operations at all stages.

Our Operations Excellence initiatives in production, marketing, sales, and supply chain will help K+S achieve significant improvements in efficiency and costs globally. We are working hard to optimize and standardize our processes with the rest of the global K+S team as part of the larger.

SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT

All sales and distribution of the potash produced at the Bethune mine is carried out through the K+S Group’s experienced and well-established global distribution structures. The group’s portfolio includes suppliers for the areas of production and technology, logistics, IT and general administration. They have set ambitious goals for focusing supply chains on sustainable growth and developed a specific concept for implementing this focus worldwide.

INNOVATION

Innovation is firmly enshrined in the corporate culture of the entire K+S Group as an important foundation of our business and strategy for meeting customer needs. Our parent company collaborates with internal and external idea providers, entrepreneurs and start-ups, allowing both early access to innovative ideas and accelerated implementation.
