Maintenance Scheduler

Your Responsibilities

Reporting to the SAP PM/MM Specialist , you will be responsible for scheduling all RTS work for all areas of the plant. The position is also responsible for scheduling all contractors and ensuring schedule accuracy. The position ensures that, at any time, it is possible to perform, in the right time, with the right means, all maintenance tasks. The position also ensures that all the proper resources and materials are assigned to the tasks. 

  • Generating and owning the schedule in MRS
  • Review RTS with Execution Supervisors and Coordinators
  • Assess schedule availability and create time allocations in MRS
  • Create schedule in MRS (Or any other software) system
  • Ensure schedule accuracy
  • Work with Planners and contractors to resolve issues and conflicts
  • Reserve and book mobile equipment and work with the Planners and Coordinators to resolve any conflicting issues. Book equipment through key cabinet.
  • All corrective and preventative work is scheduled, sequenced and PM’s are included in all daily and weekly schedules to cover all labour hours that are available. Time scheduled labour hours needs to be >100%
  • Develop a partnership with production/operations, purchasing, engineering and other key stakeholders in the planning and scheduling process
  • Responsible for setting up and running all related scheduling meetings
  • Send out weekly schedules and meeting minutes

You

  • Journeyperson Trade or Engineering Technologist with 3-5 years of experience in a heavy industrial process setting
  • Experience in dealing with internal and external resources will also be beneficial.
  • Verbal and written communication is vital and strong software experience in SAP and Microsoft Excel, Word and Project.
  • The detailed nature of data management requires exceptional organizational skills.  The data and schedules are crucial to making key decisions that directly affect maintenance and operations.
