K+S Potash Canada Once Again Named as an Employer of Choice

SASKATOON, SK – For the fourth year in a row, K+S Potash Canada (KSPC) has been selected as one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers for 2021. The results were announced today in a special magazine in the Globe and Mail.

Canada’s Top 100 Employers has been running for more than two decades and recognizes employers with exceptional human resources programs and forward-thinking workplace policies. Mediacorp Canada Inc., the group which organizes the annual competition, evaluates employers based on eight criteria: (1) Physical Workplace; (2) Work Atmosphere & Social; (3) Health, Financial & Family Benefits; (4) Vacation & Time Off; (5) Employee Communications; (6) Performance Management; (7) Training & Skills Development; and (8) Community Involvement.

“To be named as one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers is a huge honor,” says Sam Farris, President and General Manager, Operations. “It’s been a challenging year for Canadians and Canadian companies. And it’s even more important we focus our efforts on the health, safety, and overall well-being of our employees.”

“To be listed as an employer of choice and an industry leader means so much. Our employees make our company what it is: an exceptional place to work.”

Dan Ross is the Manager of Human Resources for KSPC. He says KSPC puts a lot of effort into ensuring employees have access to programs, resources, and supports which help their growth professionally and personally.

“We at KSPC strive for excellence, and we want to attract top talent. Work atmosphere, the opportunity for continuous growth, and the ability to give back to local communities are things that are important to our employees. Our culture at KSPC is very much about ensuring individuals can excel at what they do, and that their families and communities benefit by them working here.”

Ross adds, “Simply put, KSPC is just a really great place to be.”
