Saskatoon, Saskatchewan – K+S Potash Canada is thrilled to announce we’ve been awarded a spot on Saskatchewan’s Top Employers list. This special designation recognizes 20 companies in Saskatchewan who offer an exceptional place to work for their employees.

“K+S hires great people by creating a work environment that fosters learning, collaboration and teamwork. We offer competitive pay and unique programs that allow our employees to focus on their work and create meaningful relationships in the workplace,” said Dr. Ulrich Lamp, President and CEO. “We provide our employees innovative tools and practices to make work challenging and fulfilling, and this award recognizes that.”

K+S Potash Canada currently employs 156 people and will be looking to fill approximately 225 roles over the next two years. Kim Poley, VP of Human Resources and Corporate Services, believes this award will help attract top talent.

“People are the driving force behind the Legacy Project, our solution potash mine currently being constructed near Bethune," says Poley. “The positions we will be looking to fill will mostly be in the trades and operations side of the project. We hope to draw people who are interested in working for a company recognized as one of the top employers in the province."

Saskatchewan's Top Employers is an annual competition organized by the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers. Employers are evaluated by the editors of Canada's Top 100 Employers using the same eight criteria as the national competition: (1) Physical Workplace; (2) Work Atmosphere & Social; (3) Health, Financial & Family Benefits; (4) Vacation & Time Off; (5) Employee Communications; (6) Performance Management; (7) Training & Skills Development; and (8) Community Involvement. Employers are compared to other organizations in their field to determine which offers the most progressive and forwardthinking programs.
