On December 9, 2011, Norbert Steiner, Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of K+S AG (right) met with the Honourable Ed Fast, Canadian Minister of International Trade and Minister for the Asia-Pacific-Gateway (left) in the Canadian Embassy in Berlin/Germany.

“On behalf of the Government of Canada I would like to congratulate K+S AG on its recent investment in Canada and its commitment to developing a new potash mine in Saskatchewan,” said Ed Fast. “Canada welcomes foreign investment and the many benefits it brings to our economy – jobs, innovation and enhanced productivity. We look forward to working with K+S AG as it expands its footprint in Canada.”

On November 16th, 2011, K+S representatives met with Chris Dekker, CEO of Enterprise Saskatchewan (1st right) and Hendrik Taulin, Trade Commissioner Investment of the Embassy of Canada in Berlin/Germany (1st left) in K+S's headquarters in Kassel/Germany. Steffen Kirchhof, Managing Director of K+S KALI (2nd left) and Dr. Ulrich Lamp, Project Manager Legacy Integration (2nd right) were the members of K+S's delegation.

On September 21, 2011, K+S representatives met with Donald J. Atchison, Mayor of the City of Saskatoon (3rd right) and Kent Smith-Windsor, Executive Director of the Greater Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce (2nd left) in Saskatoon's City Hall. Gerd Grimmig, Member of K+S's Board of Executive Directors (2nd right), Ralf Diekmann, K+S Kali's Managing Director (3rd left), Richard L. Wilson, President and CEO of K+S Potash Canada (1st left) and Mike Ferguson, Senior Vice President and Project Manager of K+S Potash Canada (1st right) were the members of K+S's delegation.

On April 14, 2011, K+S Potash Canada representatives met with Dr. Georg Witschel, German Ambassador to Canada (3rd right) in Saskatoon. Franz Xaver Spachtholz, Vice President Engineering of K+S Potash Canada (left), Barbara Hoggard-Lulay, German Honorary Consul to Saskatchewan (2nd left), Richard L. Wilson, President and CEO of K+S Potash Canada (3rd left), Erika Ritchie, Vice President Sustainable Development of K+S Potash Canada (2nd right) and Mike Ferguson, Senior Vice President and Project Manager of K+S Potash Canada (right) also attended the gathering.

On May 12, 2011, Norbert Steiner, Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of K+S (2nd right) met with Dr. Peter Boehm, Canadian Ambassador to Germany (2nd left). Dr. Ulrich Lamp, Project Manager Legacy Integration (right) and Hendrik Taulin, Senior Investment Officer of the Canadian Embassy in Berlin/Germany, also attended the meeting.
