Legacy Project Approvals

K+S Potash Canada is diligently working to obtain all necessary approvals for the Legacy Project. Thus far, all necessary approvals have been granted within the required timeframes.

  • Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) was approved in November 2010
  • Rural Municipality of Dufferin Development Agreement was approved March 2011
  • Ministries of Environment, Energy and Resources have provided provincial permitting as necessary
  • As the process has proceeded and is proceeding, approval processes for subprojects (operational plans, e.g. for drilling) have been and are being initiated
