What is Potash?
Potash refers to potassium compounds and potassium-bearing materials, the most common being potassium chloride (KCl). Potash plays an important role in helping plants absorb nutrients, since nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium are three of the most essential nutrients that plants require to grow. Its main use is in fertilizers (95%), while the rest is used for food supplements and industrial production.
