Located at our Bethune Site, the Technical Support Analyst is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of KSPC’s IT equipment including phones, client PCs and applications. The role upkeeps services (software and hardware), processes and documents trouble tickets, and provides training and consultation.
This is a one year term position.
The successful candidate will:
•Troubleshoot hardware, software and network operating system and communicate any changes or outages to affected staff.
•Assist all on-site systems for K+S Potash Canada including network and server infrastructure, equipment research and ordering.
•Provide cabling and network movement as required.
•Provide LAN and Telephone system Support.
•Provide recommendations about accessing information and support.
•Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources in SAP’s CMDB.
•Ensure that all staff keep their data files at the server for proper backup or sync their laptops regularly to ensure backup of information.
•Troubleshoot all technology issues and maintain back-up equipment in case of emergency.
•Maintain log and/or list of required repairs and maintenance.
•Research recommendations about purchase of technology resources.
•Provide orientation and individual training to new users of existing technology.
•Provide customer support - implement and maintain client PC’s in SAP’s CMDB and applications based on K+S Group Policies.

Qualifying requirements for this role:
•A minimum of three years progressive work experience providing both internal and external support as a generalist.
•Experience in SAP; good working knowledge of MS Office and electronic file structures and experience in troubleshooting and program implementation.
•Specialized knowledge of:
•Windows Operating System
•Microsoft Office Products
•Windows Server Systems
•Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with various levels in the organization
•Must be authorized to legally work in Canada.
•Successful candidates must be eligible to travel outside of Canada as travel may be required
